SIGN of the times.. get used to it, people! OH, OK! An E-6B, which is a Boeing 707 that has been flying daily since, umm, 1989, is seen by someone landing of, at all places, an airport, and you call it a "sign of the times" and suggest we "get used to it" ?? Given the age of the B-52 I guess it's not quite ready for the scrap heap, but I think we're already "used to it."

The NASA heavy-lifter, four-engine turboprop "Guppy" was in Austin today. Perhaps both planes were related in some fashion. It certainly is unusual to see a four-engine jet around these here parts, however.

I was thinking that your friend, having seen that airplane flying low in a major city, may have remembered those eyewitness accounts. I know had I seen that (assuming it was not a common occurrence) it would have made me uneasy.
