Ok....so the Army manual back in the late 1990's stated that the Russians have a computer virus (666) that feeds the human brain information on every 25th frame. It is said that this puts the computer user into a trance and once there can be "programmed" at will or even given a heart attack (killed) if desired. This topic was covered in a book called "The brain has no firewall". Here is a snippet: Here is a link to the info: strategicstudiesinstitute.army.mil... f-secure.com says that there is no such virus: www.f-secure.com... but my thoughts are that just because it hasn't been used and found by virus detection software, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

It certainly seems plausible. Its well known that certain colors of light in rapid succession can trigger epileptic seizures. "Photosensitivity and Seizures Epilepsy affects more than three million Americans. For about 3 percent of them, exposure to flashing lights at certain intensities or to certain visual patterns can trigger seizures. This condition is known as photosensitive epilepsy." www.epilepsyfoundation.org... Nothing surprises anymore. I need to look into this more. Who knows what we are being bombarded with daily on the internet.

Well, its still better than NSA I may very well have existed, but I doubt that it would do anything to the human brain. I'm not a firm believer in subtle messages can do anything to the human brain.

I am not a Russian guinea pig or American, Never been subjected to those tests but...I can tell you one thing. Sitting at home all day the sunlight can mess with you.
Honestly it makes me sick. Not always but when am not working sunlight makes me sick, So I can see why they would try light waves as a weapon

Well, having been hacked by a vindictive kid for no reason, I wish it were true... a Gibson-esque cyber-punk brain-burn through the net would come in handy ...every day.

I feel like I've been sitting in front of my computer in a trance for years. Now I know why.

THAT explains why I only intend to spend 30 minutes each morning reading ATS, and I'm STILL reading when night falls..... Thanks! Now I have a valid reason for not getting the housework done!

They've probably been doing this for years. Remember the TV show in Japan that was blamed for over 100 children getting seizures when watching it? Japanese cartoon triggers seizureThat was done with a cartoon based on Nintendo's "Pocket Monsters" video game. So if a cartoon can do that imagine what a hi def movie or game can do. For example there is no telling what this video does to your brain. Watch if you dare!!!
